Taking care
of your teeth

Some say the eyes are the window to the soul. But if you really want to know what someone’s about, check their smile. A welcoming show of pearly whites makes a great first impression, while a tight-lipped smile or whiff of bad breath does the opposite.

Read on for tips on how to make sure you’re giving your teeth the care they deserve. If you have any question, please get in touch with us.

Save your teeth, visit the dentist
Tooth decay, the most prevalent disease in humans, is both predictable and preventable. The earlier it is caught, the more the tooth integrity can be preserved. Since the process starts painlessly, it is important to visit the dentist regularly.

During your checkup visit, our dental professional will clean your teeth and check for early decay.

If you are diligent with your daily preventive measures, the good news for you will be no news – enough to make anyone smile.

How To Take Care
Of Your Teeth

1. Application of   pit and fissure sealants

Pit and fissure sealants can be utilized as a primary prevention tool when the tooth or the patient is at an increased risk of experiencing caries or as a secondary prevention method interrupting the progression of incipient caries.

The indications for placing a pit and fissure sealant are as follows:

a.  Pits and fissures of deciduous teeth in children when the tooth, or the patient, is at an increased risk of experiencing caries

b.  Pits and fissures of permanent teeth in children and adolescents when the tooth, or the patient, is at risk of experiencing caries

c.  Pits and fissures of permanent teeth in adults when the tooth, or the patient, is at risk of experiencing caries

2. Brushing

Brushing your teeth twice a day is important because it helps remove plaque, a sticky film of bacteria that forms on your teeth. Plaque can cause tooth decay and gum disease if it is not removed. Brushing your teeth twice a day also helps to prevent bad breath.

3. Use of mouth wash and dental floss

Mouthwash is an important step of your 3-part oral hygiene routine. Since brushing and flossing physically remove most of the sticky plaque buildup and food debris, rinsing is an excellent way to holistically address any leftover germs or food particles in your mouth.

4. Regular follow up to Dentist

Always visit your dentist every 6th month for follow and check up for healthy gums and teeth.
