About
Prosthesis

A dental prosthesis is a dental appliance that replaces a missing tooth or covers up tooth defects. These dental appliances include implants, crowns, bridges, dentures and veneers, and some of them can be removable or permanently fixed in your mouth. If you think you might benefit from a prosthesis, we can explain the most effective option for your dental needs.

To make a dental prosthesis, we will conduct a thorough assessment of your teeth and oral cavity and take dental X-rays of the teeth involved for the dental prosthesis.

This allows us to provide a prosthesis that supports any remaining teeth, lets you eat and speak normally and looks great.

In the next step, we usually take an impression of the existing teeth by asking you to bite into a mold. Then we send the mold to the dental laboratory.

According to our analysis of the situation,  dental prostheses can be made from a range of materials, including porcelain, composite resin, acrylic and zirconia.

Treatments in
Prosthesis

1. Fixed Partial Denture (Single / Bridge)

Tooth loss is a situation that some people have to face. It not only affects facial appearance but can adversely affect the normal functioning of the mouth. This difficulty can be solved using dentures. Dentures or artificial teeth are custom made, porcelain (or metal) restorations that are used to replace missing tooth/teeth.

If all the teeth in a single arch are lost, mainly due to old age, a complete denture is used. On the other hand, if a single tooth or a few teeth are lost, then a partial denture is recommended.

2. Complete Denture

Complete dentures are used when there are no teeth remaining in one or both jaws. They consist of two main parts, namely the artificial teeth and the denture base. As described, an artificial tooth is used to restore the appearance of the natural tooth, its occlusion, oral function, and to assist in word pronunciation.

3. Dental Implants

Dental implants are long-term teeth replacements that don’t need to hold on to your gums or affect adjoining teeth for support.  Dental implants of the highest quality titanium naturally fuse with the jawbone over the next few months. Further, there is minimal risk of bone loss due to the blending of the implant with your jaw.after3-4 month prosthesis is given.

4. Full Mouth Rehabilitation

Full Mouth Rehabilitation is also known as full mouth restoration, is a procedure of restoring, rebuilding or rebuilding teeth in the upper and lower jaws of one’s mouth. Full Mouth Reconstruction improves all health-related aspects of the mouth like teeth, gums and bite.

5. Cast Partial Dentues. A Cast Partial Denture (CPD) is defined as a removable partial denture consisting of a cast metal framework that contains artificial teeth set in an acrylic resin. As compared to conventional acrylic denture, Cast Partial Denture is stronger, more durable and retentive.
